Thanks to Erik Sanchez of Sticky Audio for helping me record a voiceover demo reel! Erik made the process quick, simple and enjoyable and I'm thrilled with the results!

Travel/ Fulbright Grant Research

"Travel, in the younger sort, is a part of education; in the elder, a part of experience," -Sir Francis Bacon. I estimate myself to be straddling those two worlds.  In late December/ early January, I hopped a plane to Dublin alone and spent a few weeks traveling up to Northern Ireland and then making my way down the west coast. The purpose of this trip was an ambiguous cocktail of pleasure and business. I have long considered applying for a Fulbright Scholarship to spend a year in Ireland devising a piece about Irish history, dance and language. My solo journey allowed me to make more connections than I ever could have anticipated and I find myself in an excellent position to begin the daunting task of completing a Fulbright application.

Did you know I also photograph and travel write? It's true. Check out my newest endeavor down this route here: Off The Beaten Sidewalk.

Readings

I'm honored to be able to take part in some developmental readings for playwrights including Ben Gassman, Alexandra Collier and Emily Comisar in the coming months. Stay tuned.

As one Loop closes...

It is with much reverence and a bit of remorse that I bid farewell to The Downtown Loop. What a beautiful journey this piece has been, with a group of open, genuine and intimidatingly talented collaborators. I'm so unbelievably lucky. Pictured here on closing night with Greg Carere, Sarah Mollo-Christensen and Mia Jessup.

The Downtown Loop- Previews

The Downtown Loop opened for previews this past Tuesday and audiences have been very enthusiastic. I can't adequately communicate my enthusiasm for the show via blog- suffice to say that I am thoroughly awed by the talent of every individual working on this piece. And there are MANY individuals working on this piece- directing, writing, acting, video designing/ operating, sound designing/ operating, live filming, costuming, building the bus- it takes a village to make a play. Previews continue through next Tuesday evening and the show officially opens on Wednesday, October 23rd. Tickets and information on the 3LD sitehere
