planet b234 is an official selection for the Lake County Film Festival (in person and online November 4-29th) and the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival (in person December 3-6th).
Constellations by Nick Payne, presented by the UNA’s Cinematic Arts and Theatre Department, The School of the Arts and College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering performed a sold out run from August 20-29th at the George S. Lindsey Theatre in Florence, Alabama. Thank you to the incredible creative team who brought this magical show to life.
My feature directing debut, planet b234, will make its world premiere at the Vail Film Festival September 23-26th. Tickets are available here.
After that, we’re off to the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival October 8-10th and then the Lake County Film Festival November 18-29th.
I’m thrilled to have joined the University of North Alabama as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Cinematic Arts & Theatre for the 2020-2021 academic year. I’ll be teaching Acting, Directing, Script Analysis, Voice & Movement and On-Camera technique in UNA’s new BFA in Cinematic Arts & Theatre program.

I'm excited to direct the developmental residency of a new piece called 'Excavation' with writer/ performer E. Wray and dramaturg/ performer Marisela Grajeda Gonzalez. We'll hold several open rehearsals at the end of the week- stay tuned for details.

I'm excited to be performing in the world premiere of 'Tongue Depressor' by Jerry Leiblich, directed by Tara Elliot for the Brooklyn College Play Festival- 'Bring a Weasel and a Pint of Your Own Blood.' Join me on Wednesday, July 18th for a free screening of The (Other) One, a feature length film I shot last summer (this time in front of the camera!). Doors open at 6:30p and the screening begins at 7p at the G.E. Theatre at Proctors in Schenectady, NY (432 State St).
I'm pleased to have graduated from my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Three Sisters Yoga. I thoroughly enjoyed the instructors and my colleagues were all very inspiring. I'm thrilled to now have the opportunity to merge my long-term love of yoga with my passion for teaching.

It's a big week for The Ume Group! We're kicking off our Open Training Series this Tuesday at 7p with a Butoh lesson with Yokko. Participants are then invited to stay and rehearse with The Ume Group as we begin to devise materials for our newest piece. This event is open to the community and by-donation/ pay-what-you-can.
I'm also looking forward to moderating the talk-back immediately following The Ume Group's Lab @ Grace & St. Paul's Church- a forum for early stage performance experiments. We'll be hosting the following artists as they share their early explorations of these pieces:
